Upgraded Darwin II Architecture:-

HiBy introduced the Darwin architecture with the award-winning RS6 audio player that came out last year. They have reworked the same and designed an all-new Darwin II second-generation Darwin architecture. It's completely flexible and fully configurable creating endless possibilities for upgrades and evolution in sound performance.

Precisely Designed R2R Ladder Array DAC:-

The R2R Resistor Array for the Darwin II Architecture consists of 12 high-speed switches and 184 high-precision resistors. These numbers are double the amount of the last generation effectively increasing dynamic performance and fidelity at low signal levels. The digital signal is driven through high-speed electronic switches. They present an organic transparent and natural sound output for the listeners.

Resistor Ladder Array Linearity Compensation:-

The Darwin II Architecture effectively reduces the non-linearity caused by the resistor resistance mismatch in the R2R network. It allows for a relaxing and smooth sound presentation with an organic tone.

Pure Titanium Chassis:-

RS8 is a pure flagship-grade music player. It has been designed with a pure Titanium chassis that has been formed by 6-stages of high-precision CNC machining processes. Switchable OS/NOS Modes:-

HiBy RS8 has easy switching between NOS/OS modes. Non-OverSampling mode bypasses the oversampling and antialiasing responding instantaneously to transients and stair steps. It converts the digital signal into analog in the rawest and most direct manner. It is suited mainly for music files with high bitrate and resolution(192kHz and above). Oversampling mode easily removes aliasing artifacts using low-pass filters. It enables all functions of the Darwin Architecture.
