Cayin N8ii is equipped with a dual DAC chipset featuring two high-performance 32-Bit ROHM BD34301 DAC chips. These are recently launched flagship-grade DAC chips from ROHM that are professionally tuned for delivering an authentic high-resolution experience for the listeners. N8ii achieves ultra-low distortion and a clean background with Hi-Res signal decoding.
Fully-Balanced Tube Amplification:-
For the first time with the N8ii Cayin has implemented a fully balanced tube headphone amplification in a portable digital audio player. You get two high-quality KORG NUTUBE 6P1 tubes that are implemented in the fully-discrete audio circuitry on the N8ii. The device has a 4.4mm balanced output that takes full benefit of the Tubes there is also a 3.5mm single-ended output on the N8ii.
Dual Operational Modes: Class A and Class AB:-
The amp section in the Cayin N8ii has dual operational modes Class A and Class AB. It also has dual output modes Standard P mode and high-power P+ mode. The high-power P+ mode is ideally designed for high-power requiring headphones. Do note that the High P+ gain mode on tube amplification is available only on the Class AB mode.
Lightning-Fast Performance With Qualcomm SoC:-
Cayin has opted for Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC as the core for the N8ii. It delivers a snappy user interface with no lag. The device also has 6GB of RAM allowing the user to use multiple applications at once.
Fully-Functioning Android 9:-
Cayin has designed the N8ii system with an open Android 9 OS. It comes pre-loaded with Google Playstore with streaming and other media application support straight out of the box.
