SMSL D400 EX is a brand new flagship Desktop DAC designed with the latest-generation AK4499EX 32-bit flagship DAC chips. It adopts the 3rd generation XMOS XU316 USB Processor along with 9 high-end OPAMP chips for unprecedented audio performance. The D400 EX supports all leading audio formats with support for decoding high-resolution PCM native DSD and MQA audio signals. It's an MQA and MQA-CD-certified premium Desktop DAC!!

Flagship Dual-DAC AKM Chipset:-

SMSL has equipped the D400 EX with a flagship-grade Dual DAC chipset featuring two AK4499EX latest-generation DAC Chips from AKM Technologies. D400 EX also houses 1 AK4191 Chip to complement the AK4499EX DACs. The AK4499EX is a 32-Bit flagship DAC chip from AKM that provides unmatched performance while decoding high-resolution audio signals.

3rd-Generation XMOS USB Processor:-

In order to get the best out of the flagship DAC Chipset present on the D400 EX SMSL has featured an XU316 USB processor from XMOS Technologies. It enables the D400 Ex to decode high-resolution 32-Bit/768kHz PCM signals and native DSD512 audio signals.

High-Resolution Wireless Bluetooth Connectivity:-

SMSL D400 EX premium Desktop DAC supports high-resolution wireless Bluetooth connectivity for signal input. It adopts the latest QCC5125 Bluetooth processor from Qualcomm that supports high-res LDAC AptX HD AptX SBC and AAC transmission protocols. LDAC allows the users to stream at 24-bit/96kHz bitrate.

MQA & MQA CD Certified:-

SMSL D400 EX is a true flagship Desktop DAC that supports true MQA and MQA CD audio signal decoding. D400 EX has passed the certification for both MQA & MQA CD ensuring top-quality studio-grade performance with the DAC.

Multiple Input Options:-

D400 EX supports a wide range of input options that include IIS USB Coaxial Optical and Bluetooth. Users will be able to easily connect the D400 EX with different sources easily.

Built-In Digital Filters:-
